Callie lives in Bristol, South West of England, with her husband - a writer and engineer, and their youngest son – also a writer. They have four children, six grandchildren, and a golden Labrador.

She holds a BA in English Literature with first-class honours from the Open University, and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Bristol.

The Story Collector is a collection of twisty tales that connect to give a novel-like feel when read in sequence. Callie wrote some of these stories as part of her undergraduate degree and also while a student at The Writers' Bureau.
